Old versions worked fine in XP and maybe Windows Vista and Seven x32, but they dont work in x64.

It happened to me when I installed Windows 7 x64. I opened my many years old Audiograbber installer and it didnt even executed giving an error. Downloaded latest version and worked fine.

I had no trouble installing it on my HP laptop running Windows 7 Home Premium, 64-bit. It works fine. I didnt do anything different from when I had installed it on an HP laptop running Windows XP two or three years ago.
