<![CDATA[Will the Xing encoder work in Audiograbber?]]>I bought AudioCatalyst years ago, but now use AudioGrabber.

I still have AudioCatalyst and use it when I need something done fast. The encoder used by AudioCatalyst is the fastest that I have seen.

Is there any way to use the Xing encoder, that comes with AudioCatalyst, in the AudioGrabber program?

I am not worried about which one is supposed to be the best. I just need to know if it is possible to use Xing in AudioGrabber.

I would appreciate any useful responses.

From the AG help file -

So you need x3enc.exe. look in the AudioCatalyst install folder for that file. If it is there copy it to the Audiograbber install folder.

Then in Audiograbber go to MP3 Settings and choose the External Encoder tab.

If you cannot find x3enc.exe then youre stuffed unless you can fine a source for it (Xing Technology is out of business).
