I have a new dell laptop, and am having issues with ripping cds.
the first track of a ripping session always ends up with a skip in it (about a minute in) (ie, if I do track 2 first, that ends up with the skip in).
I am using the lame 64 bit converter, but the problem seems to occur before that - the generation of the wav file part of the process seems to create a wav file with a skip in it, meaning, of course, that the generated mp3 has a skip in it too.
The rest of the cd rips fine, just the first track of that ripping session.
Has anyone ever come across anything like this before?
