As I have been spoiled with musicmatch, the one feature I used a lot, especially on live albums, was the ability to start wherever I wanted in the song, fade in, then end where I wanted and fade out. It was so easy but cant find anything out there. Too many problems with getting Musicmatch to work on Windows 7 and any new cd/dvd drive doesnt get recognized by Musicmatch. Thanks a lot for any help.

i sugets you record a test with Artist name after Artist name, Album name after Album name and so on so you can see how AudioGrabber names your audio files

msconfig -> startup -> desactive all what you want NOT started at startup

You can set the location under general settings the default is c:\Audiograbber

I have a new dell laptop, and am having issues with ripping cds. the first track of a ripping session always ends up with a skip in it (about a minute in) (ie, if I do track 2 first, that ends up with the skip in). I am using the lame 64 bit converter, but the problem seems to occur before that - the generation of the wav file part of the process seems to create a wav file with a skip in it, meaning, of course, that the generated mp3 has a skip in it too. The rest of the cd rips fine, just the first track of that ripping session. Has anyone ever come across anything like this before?

How do i rip a karaoke cdg

I am ripping 10 tracks off album X. The resulting mp3s in my album folder are labeled by Audiograbber X, X1, X2, X3, etc. In other words, the first named track does not have a number, but the second track has a 1 at the end of the title, the third a 2, and so on. How do I fix this so the first track gets the 1, the second the 2, etc?

When I record programs from radio such as CarTalk, can I creare setting to provide filenames such as "CarTalk (date)" such as Cartalk 02-12-2012?

I like to save ripped files to my desktop and then manipulate them. The list of location options does not include the desktop. Am I missing something? Is there some way to save the files to my desktop? (By manipulate, I change bit rates, merge tracks, and splice results.)

I recently started using the Squeezebox and found that some albums ripped using Audiograbber v1.83 wont play, although they play fine with Windows Media Player. I took this up with Logitech, sent them some files, and they reorted that "Some of the data thats needed at the beginning of the track (indicating length, etc) seems to be at the end of the track. Because the Squeezebox needs these when streaming via the network, the file cant play." Has anyone else experienced this? Would a later version of Audiograbber cure the problem?

When trying to "grab" from a CD I get a pop=up saying: "Copies digital audio from cds. Freeware has stopped working. A problem caused the program to stop working correctly. Windows will clost program and nottify you if a solution is available." I redownloaded the program WITH the mp3 plug-in. Still get the same pop-up. HELP!

when i read from sunfly karaoke the artist and track name do not come up for me

The CD player in Audiograbber was working fine, but a setting must have changed such that the music does not play thru the speakers when I sample a CD track almost as if it was muted. I can see the cd player time incrementing as if it was playing but no sound thru the speakers. I use this just to sample a track prior to ripping to an MP3. The cd and mp3 plays fine in other players. Any thoughts?

I have a Nostalgia juke box from Soundleisure and want to print the track names to the cards supplied. I have obtained the track names using the Audiograbber freedb option but cannot print them. Any advice?

What are the recommended settings for grabbing cdg for Karoake?

I am a beginning computer science and I would like to delve into some programs and this is very similar to a project I would like to do. So far I have been able to get into java and C++ a bit.
