Hi. I successfully installed windows 7 x64 Audiograbber. It works well in general. Ive scheduled to record the sound of my card and you can record audio, every hour, 365 days a year. But my problem is that records only 58 minutes. Ive checked everything but can not find where the bad and always "eats" the first two minutes of the next hour. What can it be? i have an HP touchsmart 9300 with a BDRom/DVD writer. I continue to get "aspi" error on every song I try to copy EXCEPT the first one. I have downloaded frog aspi, but not sure if this will work and am cluless as to how and WHERE to install it. Thanks in advance for anyones help?

I have 64 bit Windows 7. Audio grabber used to work just fine, but when I tried today I started getting access violation errors every time it tries to rip a track. I tried the solution of setting compatibility mode to Windows XP SP3, but then I instead got a floating point error when I tried again.

I had the same problem and I had contact with Norman in The Netherlands. They did a check on the execute file and told me that it was not malware and they fixed our problem. About the Installer problem I have no information. Good luck Rusthof

So today I found out that AudioGrabber doesnt like to record if the drive is drive A or B. I assume this is a bug. Ideas?

The only work around I know of is to RIGHT CLICK the SHORTCUT and select RUN AS and sign in as administrator. Do you want the limited user knowing the master administrator password!

Audiograbber used to work for me. But I did not use it much because I already owned CDRWiN. Sometimes Audiograbber would copy a track when CDRWIN failed. It amazed me that the free Audiograbber would sometimes do what CDRWIN could not. And I paid for CDRWIN. But lately Ive been trying to get Audiograbber to work with my Plextor and Its driving me nuts. My Plextor is listed when Win NT/2000 calls is checked but Audiograbber gets stuck when I try to copy. My Plextor disappears from the list when ASPI Manager is checked. I am using WinXP and a Plextor PX-S88TU. I Googled for ASPI drivers but no help so far. Thank you.

I am not sure that I understand; if you mean that the file ripped with AG does not appear in the Audacity list, perhaps it is because your settings in AG are different due to the re-installing and the files are not saved where you expect them to be. When you open AG and either click on the Settings icon in the ribbon or click Settings in the Menu, then click the General Settings... selection, the General Settings dialog will open; at the top of this dialog box is the field where ripped files are saved. Hopefully your files are there. If not, then if you remember the name or part of the name of your rip, you can search your computer for it and locate the ripped files. Hope that helps!

All support for the paid version went when Audiograbber became freeware. Just download the latest version and no serial number is needed.

Windows 2000/XP and higher (including Windows 7) did not include ASPI support by default. This is because Microsoft developed and included their own interface, called SPTI. Audiograbber supports SPTI, allowing you to rip great audio even from machines which do not have ASPI installed. Its not labelled as SPTI any more (it used to be). If you go into Audiograbbers settings and choose ASPI, you should see two radio buttons. "ASPI manager" is true ASPI, but "Win NT/2000 calls" is SPTI.

Are you installing the last version? the one you can download here? Old versions worked fine in XP and maybe Windows Vista and Seven x32, but they dont work in x64. It happened to me when I installed Windows 7 x64. I opened my many years old Audiograbber installer and it didnt even executed giving an error. Downloaded latest version and worked fine.

The mixer button hasnt worked since Vista. If memory serves its because the mixer property has been renamed in Vista + and Audiograbber cannot find it.

Strange. On some Win7 systems it seems to work well, on others problems are reported. Dont know how to fix that.

I have had the same problem, but in my case I have experienced this situation in Windows 7 and Windows Vista. Apparently there is a compatibility issue in those two OSs. My sound card is a Sounblaster Live! 24 bits. (I have experienced this problem while attempting to capture Online Audio).

am also select select a slower read (rip) speed.The closer to the outer edge of the CD you try to read the harder it is to read. Does your ripping software allow you to select the read speed? If so, you should select a slower read (rip) speed.

Trying to install Algorithmix noise free plug in to use with line in sampling. Cant seem to get it to work with Algorithmix install procedure. Any ideas? Will this plug in even work?
