    I quite often find that freedb comes back with "Sorry, disk was not found". The settings are "freedb.freedb.org" and "Random freedb server"

    Is it possible to get this otherwise excellent software, to go and look for the info in another free online database ?

    Go to Settings>FreeDB Settings, you should be able to change the FreeDB Settings from there. good luck!

    I am a DJ thats just gone digital and and I am using AG to rip my CDs to WAV. As a DJ I need to maintain the highest quality of my music as possible.

    I am using Audio Grabber to Rip All my CDS to WAV with the same settings for all the RIPs, however, some of my ALBUMS have been ripped @ 2282kbps and some albums have been ripped at half that much 1141kbps. these are the only 2 values thats its been ripping to.

    I would like to maintain a uniformity in ripping the CDs, preferably at 2282kbps.

    Is this normal ?
    Does the sound quality differ between 2822 and 1411?

    Please let me know what to do.

    This upgrade has quit creating mp3s from my cds. When I convert a CD, I only get a .wav file. What am I missing?

    Im using Audiograbber on Windows 7 64-bit system. Im having a problem where some MP3s are will rip and encode successfully, but when palyed back, the first 15 - 30 seconds of a song repeat. It will play for 10 - 30 seconds, and then jump back to the beginning. This is not a playback issue, it is encoded into the MP3. It appears to happen to files fairly randomly.

    I think that it is actually delaying the detection of the end of the track. Today I watch carefully and the first 10s of a track played without the track number advancing then there was silence and the track number advanced. Has completely stuff the quality.

    Line-In Recording

    I have Audiograbber working well on two PCs for several years but with a new PC I cannot get it to work at all. It installs OK but when I select the line input nothing happens although I get sound from my speakers. And yes I have ensured correct input is checked on the mixer - in fact I have all options open at the moment but still no sound getting to the recording bars on audiograbber - my sound card is Soundmax HD audio on a Dell optiplex. Any suggestions please.

    Comments from the original thread anonymous on 2010-10-25: I have the same problem and I am also a long time user of Audiograbber on my old PC. When I grab, it records via the mic on my Logitech webcam even though the music is playing correctly thru my speakers. I tried changing the Analogue setting (error msg says Windows not sending sound) but no luck. anonymous on 2011-01-16: Same here. Longtime user (years) and now with Win 7 finds no sound card. Solution, please!
