I want to use audiograbber in high bitrates e.g. 320 kbs in stereo mode.
I use the lame module.
I only find Lame 128 kbs joint stereo.
How can I change to (full) stereo ???

I have used Audiograbber successfully in the past, but not recently.

Now, when I try to use it, after the first track is done, it give errors, and then stops, and will not close properly, I have to end the process.

When the first track is finished ripping, and then compressing, a box pops up that says "Memory Already Initialized" and then the only option is OK. So I click OK, and another box pops up and says "Access Violation at address 7728E740. Read of Address 02A30044." Then the only option is OK, so I click that, and the try to close the program, in the normal way, but it does not respond, so I have to end the process.

I am using Windows 7 SP1, 64-bit.

Help! Id really like to rip some of my CDs.

I recently upgraded to Windows 7 and installed Audiograbber 1.83, but now:

• I cannot grab to MP3
• Grabbing is at 1.00x speed
• Cd starts playing while grabbing.

All settings are correct (I changed a bit to see what happens, but helas...)
I checked the audiograbber.ini but everything looks fine.
I installed the lame encoder, but I dont see it working.

In my previous XP system everything worked fine and fast, without playing the cds. I even changed the auto playback in Windows to ask me.

Is it Windows 7? Is it x64? Is it something else?
Please let me know. Shame such a good program to fail in Windows 7 x64.

is audio grabber er in dutch

I just downloaded the most current version of audio grabber 1.83 on to my brand new i7 Dell xps laptop with windows 7 pro 64 bit OS.

I also downloaded the most current lame 64 bit plugin.

My external encoder does not give me any option to encode at 320 constant bit rate with the lame encoder? Its user defined optimal settings are some where around 128?

Please help me correct this?

I am trying to find out if I can reduce the size of an 8 CD set audio book to fit on my MP3 player that has 2GB storage size.

Anyone has an idea on how to rip and turn into a wav/mp3 file, a sound played from a streaming video or a streaming sound, that is played through the sound hardware of my computer? I guess I am looking for something different from putting a microphone in front of my speakers and then ripping the line in :-).
I have been a long time fan of this great piece of freeware, which allowed me to organise my own music from my CDs, and rip my old vinyls and turn them in HQ CD ! Thanks !

Audiograbber used to work for me. But I did not use it much because I already owned CDRWiN. Sometimes Audiograbber would copy a track when CDRWIN failed. It amazed me that the free Audiograbber would sometimes do what CDRWIN could not. And I paid for CDRWIN.

But lately Ive been trying to get Audiograbber to work with my Plextor and Its driving me nuts.

My Plextor is listed when Win NT/2000 calls is checked but Audiograbber gets stuck when I try to copy.

My Plextor disappears from the list when ASPI Manager is checked.

I am using WinXP and a Plextor PX-S88TU. I Googled for ASPI drivers but no help so far.

When using Audiograbber v1.83 on a Win7 Pro system, the “temp.wav” file does not get unlocked in order for Audiograbber to rename the file. Note that this does not occur on another system which is also a Win7 machine or on any of the XP machines. Also, the issue only occurs on WAV file creation not MP3 creation. I saw the answer to the same question asked about a year ago from a user on an XP system, but the steps that were suggested did not help in my case. Can you give any more assistance?

As I have been spoiled with musicmatch, the one feature I used a lot, especially on live albums, was the ability to start wherever I wanted in the song, fade in, then end where I wanted and fade out. It was so easy but cant find anything out there. Too many problems with getting Musicmatch to work on Windows 7 and any new cd/dvd drive doesnt get recognized by Musicmatch. Updated my system and am running Win7 64 bit. Installed latest version of Audiograbber and lame plugin. Lame doesnt show up as an internal decoder. It is installed in the correct folder. Then I downloaded and installed the same on a Windows XP computer and it all worked correctly. Why cant I get the Win 7 one working? Thanks

The volume meter will not go below 1.0.and it also keeps flickering.This happens even if i disconnect the line in jack at the sound card

I have used Audiograbber for years. On my new computer (WIN 7) I get message sound card not found. I tried the fix to check what you hear however that is not listed on my computer. All I have is mic and line in. Can you help?

Ive installed Audiograbber so I can record the essential mix directly onto my laptop from the streaming radio, but when I open line-in sampling I get nothing registering through the levels but when I click on Mixer nothing happens. I get no recording options or anything.

Any ideas?

WMP name files and display correctly when playing on my car stereo,
but with Audiograbber (I love it and use it frequently) I get the file info all messed up, how do I set the naming dialog box to make it like WMP?

I have two hard drives. One is my boot drive the second I use as for temp files so my computer doesnt slow down when multi tasking. My MP3s are located on a network file server for the whole family to share.
I would like the change the location of the Audiograbber temp file to local Drive S:\AudiograbberTemp and keep the location of the MP3s on the network drive Z:\music.

I need to extract the sound from standard audio tapes, and convert the saved "tracks" on my computer in mp3. But the sound quality is really bad when i try to extract the sound via the sound card of my laptop (windows Vista).
Like 2 years ago i use my old walk man and a jack-jack cable. the only difference is that now i have a laptop "hp pavillion dv6" on vista.

2 years ago i had a pc (tower) with windows xp. and i had successfully extracted the sound from many audio tapes with a jack M- Jack M cable and my old walk-man. (Audiograbber)

is it a configuration problem ? maybe some options that must be changed or selected in the audiograbber ??
