Select Settings from the menu and then select option ID3v2 tag.... In the pop-up window there is a section for Track numbers. Select the first option.

Just install the MP3 plugin from http://www.audiograbber.org/download.html Then you automatically get MP3 files at about 192 kbit/s.

You can convert Wav files with Audiograbber but not WMA files. Use http://germanixsoft.de/germanix-transcoder/ instead

Its been free for over 7 years now, you dont need a code.

Ive answered my own query! I went through the entire system, removing all invalid uninstallers, Algorithmix files, Audiograbber files, registry entries referencing algo*, registry entries referencing Audiograbber, start menu entries etc - to make sure that it looked as if Audiograbber and Algorithmix had never been installed at all! Then I did a clean re-install of Audiograbber, followed by the Lame encoder and then the Algorithmix plug-ins. All went OK and now 100% again. The noticed difference with the Algorithmix installer is that the first plug-in asked for an install path this time, whereas before this dialog was never presented - so I conclude that some remnant of a previous invalid installation was causing the problem!

msconfig -> startup -> desactive all what you want NOT started at startup

I suspect there is too much background noise from the Cassette / Cassette player / your Sound card. Does the Volume Meter drop below 1% (ish) between tracks?

Look at Settings -> General Settings and look at your CD-ROM type on the bottom. Try changing that from "SCSI - XXX" to "IDE - ATAPI" (or the other way around). Does that help?

Hm, hard drive full? Did you try to change the output folder (in options) to another one?

Where did you purchase it? It is freeware since 2003! You can use the built in normalize feature of Audiograbber to normalize while ripping. Instead, I would recommend you to use the free tool MP3 gain to adjust the volume of you MP3s, because it is lossless: http://mp3gain.sourceforge.net/ Best, Stefan

24 bit software are different and a major enhancement in sound recording quality; it,s not supported by this free software. under reserve you can try this : Use External Encoder in: Options, MP3 Options, Click Wave at the top and below "External Encoder". Note that you must have 24 bit encoder plugin (DLL) first saved somewhere in your drive; or you have to find a Ripper that do the job at 24 bit. Goog luck and please, keep us in touch. I have just installed the pcdj karaoki program on my laptop. I had been using the Siglos Karaoke Player/Recorder software. The website for this software is www.powerkaraoke.com. Once you get to the website, look at the pricing menu. There you will find a software called Power CD+G Burner. I used this burner to rip cdg disks to my hard drive for use with the Siglos software. When I bought PCDJ Karaoki, I imported all the files from My Karaoke Playlist folder on my hard drive and they loaded into PCDJ Karaoki software just fine. Im going to rip all my new cdgs in the future using this method. It works for me. I hope this gives you some alternatives to look at and I hope I have helped you.
